Modern Nostalgia is a full remodel of a 1960s ranch-style home in South Boulder, near a neighborhood school and local hiking trails. A laid-back young family was drawn to the character of the house and set out to transform it into a home that feels relaxed, functional, and deeply personal. Opening the kitchen to the surrounding living spaces and adding a main-level primary suite reshaped the home for modern living. Fixtures and finishes were selected to feel both sensible and spirited, reinforcing the home’s timeless character.
