Giddy Up!
Set against the sprawling landscape of rural Boulder County, this modern ranch was designed as a family home that connects to their roots. The clients envisioned a place that felt clean and contemporary, but never cold—a home that could handle muddy boots, lively dinners, and the everyday rhythms of family life while still feeling thoughtful and composed. Sleek lines and a restrained palette are softened through warm textures, natural materials, and subtle references to the surrounding landscape. White oak floors, cozy fabrics, and layered finishes ground the home in its setting, while moments of color add depth without distraction.

Throughout the house, the design remains curated but relaxed and spaces are meant to be lived in. The result is a home that feels connected to the land and to the people who inhabit it—modern in spirit and grounded in comfort.
