SPEAKEASY

The speakeasy is a conceptual design for a mid-century modern lounge in the Stanley Marketplace in Aurora.  The bar is centralized with different types of seating areas around the perimeter.  The s-curve structure provides cover over an intimate seating area and then turns into a raised platform and bench that face a wall of windows.  The wood slatted walls and ceiling panels double as design elements and acoustical treatments.
